Beginning January 01, 2017 Arrhythmia Center of Northern California, Inc. (ACNC) officially began to see its patients under Dr. Kusumoto's newly formed medical group. It is with great enthusiasm that Walter T Kusumoto, M.D. M.P.H. CEO makes this official announcement that moves him closer to his dream of bringing innovative cutting-edge quality patient arrhythmia services to California's Northstate.

Dr. Kusumoto graduated with his Doctor of Medicine from St. Louis University, School of Medicine in 1995 and finished his residency in Internal Medicine at UC Davis in 1998. Subsequently, in 2001, Dr. Kusumoto finished his fellowship in Cardiology, followed by a fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology in 2002, both degrees earned while studying at the Oregon Health Sciences University. Dr. Kusumoto then earned a Master’s Degree in Public Health in 2003, also at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
Beginning in 2002 the doctor first began to practice medicine in his field of Electrophysiology for Colorado Permanente. In 2005 the doctor left Colorado Permanente after accepting a recruitment offer from Enloe Medical Center in Chico, CA.
From 2005 through today, the doctor has served the Chico, California community as Enloe Medical Center’s Director of Electrophysiology. This same year, Dr. Kusumoto also founded the Arrhythmia Center of Northern California at the same location where he has served his patients both in our local community and throughout the Northstate .

Maria is the Arrhythmia Center of Northern California's (ACNC's) Clinical Office Manager. She has been working for ACNC since 2012 and is responsible for the clinical office patient services. Maria manages our office calendar, is responsible for staff training and oversight, coordinates the staff/device representative schedules and is responsible for orchestrating the balance of business and clinical operations and ensures that our EHR Billing Team provides accurate billing services. Of Maria it could be rightly said that she is a proverbial, "Jack of all trades". With her great problem solving skills, it is Maria who will operate in the capacity of Ombudsman if patients need to speak with management. As you can see by her photo, Maria's smile can easily help patients and staff feel at ease

Because Crystal is detail oriented, she is perfect for this job. She takes great care and pride in the service she provides to our patients. In addition, when Maria is out of the office Crystal serves as ACNC's alternate supervisor..
On clinic days you will see Crystal with the other MAs rooming patients and taking vitals.
It is Amy who you will greet you when you first come into our office and it is Amy who is normally the first to answer calls. Amy is our patient record keeper and will verify some items at each appointment and manage your annual patient information packet.
When you have questions, Amy will direct you to the person who can best help.

Additionally, at each appointment check-in, Amy will verify current insurance, email addresses, physical addresses and current phone numbers. When you have finished an appointment, Amy will assist you with the check-out process and will reschedule your next appointment.
Ashlee works as a Medical Assistant on clinic days and may perform EKGs, Holter/Event Monitor hook-ups, take vitals, update medication lists etc...
On non-clinic days Ashlee performs chart-check duties. It is Ashlee who ensures that your current test and labs are available for the doctor during your office visit.
Adriana works as a Medical Assistant and assists in our New Patient Scheduling.
Miria works as a Medical Assistant on Clinic days and in in Charge of our New Patient Referrals and scheduling.
